Oak Flat, Arizona is the sacred birthplace of the geo-centric religion practiced by the Apache people, who know the land as "Chi'chil Bildagoteel." Join FAN on Thursday, Sept. 19 to hear Vanessa Nosie of Apache Stronghold tell us about Oak Flat, her family's experience with the sacred, and how their nonprofit, Apache Stronghold, has built a legal case with religious communities across the nation to protect Oak Flat, a case which they are petitioning to the US Supreme Court.
This event will be recorded and sent to everyone who registers.
