On Sunday, January 5, 2025, at 3:30 pm ET/12:30 pm PT, join us for our fourth annual “Faith in Democracy” Interfaith Prayer Vigil, a powerful moment of prayer, reflection, and unity. This hybrid event will be livestreamed and held in person at the Lutheran Church of the Reformation, 212 East Capitol St. NE.
FAN is partnering with Sojourners, Faith in Peace Concerts, the Leadership Conference of Women Religious, and many other partners to bring together faith leaders and believers from a variety of traditions, all speaking from sacred texts which guide us to protect the rights of all and to resolve our differences without violence. In the United States, our way of doing that is through a properly functioning and fully representative democracy.
Find more information about our speakers and musicians as it becomes available at our event webpage. Please join us in our vigil to stand and pray for democracy, peace, and unity as our newly elected officials take office.
Attendance is free, but we greatly appreciate donations to help defray the costs of holding the event.
